Thank You

God has blessed us immensely with our move and settling in. It is good to be home with you and I look forward to Deborah’s coming home permanently as well. While she is looking for a job we ask for your prayers and know that the Lord will provide the right opportunity in His time. Deborah and I want to thank each of you who have reached out to us, helped us, and most of all praying for us. God provides in so many ways and we want to thank you for your part.

We look forward in working shoulder to shoulder with you as the Lord has great things for Dale Ridge to do for His Kingdom. I know in the Lord, and on a personal level, that we will grow together and God will give the increase. I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for us as we begin our journey here! As a fellow laborer, please know that Deborah and I are here for you and your family through the good, and the bad, as life has its twist and turns. I am here for you 24/7. If you need me at 2:00 a.m. I want you to feel comfortable in knowing that I care enough to be there for you. We want to be a part of your family as you will be in ours. Isn’t it great that the Lord provides for us a home with Christians of like precious faith and gives us the opportunity to serve Him in many different ways?

It is my prayer that God will open the door for spiritual and numerical growth. Our responsibility is “to go into all the world.” Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. So many people think . . . this is my opportunity to go to another country and do mission work. While I believe in doing that as well, often times we forget all the world is also here at home. Our greatest mission is in our own back yard. For the church to grow, we have to have all hands-on deck and allow God to use us in great and mighty ways. All of our talents are important for the congregation as each of you have a vital role.

We have a wonderful eldership that, (I believe) wants to see that growth. I am excited to work with them as they have expressed the same with me. They are our shepherds, worthy of double honor, and ready to lead us into greater works for 2020. I pray that God will give us plenty of souls for the Master. I am humbled to be able to come back home and preach for a wonderful congregation. God has truly blessed us with you being a part of our family. We want to simply say thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family.
