Trust in Him

September 11th, 2001 is a date whose imprint on our National consciousness as Americans will take generations to fade. September 10th as the morning of September 11th was a crisp fall day in Washington and Northern Virginia. I went about my commute at near day break from the suburbs of Maryland that morning as in any other day. I began the day with a quick walk from the parking garage in Crystal City to my office directly across from the Pentagon on Army and Navy Street. Today we do not know what the future holds. It stays with me and even haunts me because of the complete uncertainty of tomorrow and what occurred that day.

But as you read this, I am given the knowledge far greater than the ability to see the future. I know, with the utmost certainty, that whatever unknown or unlooked-for events the next day may bring, GOD is with me, today, tomorrow and forever!

1 Peter 1: 20-21 “He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you who through him are believers in GOD who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your FAITH and HOPE are in GOD” Just like the morning of September 11th when I walked in from the parking garage and did not know the day before me, we today do not know our future but GOD does and we know the HOPE and REWARD we each can look forward to being in Christ.
